While I would not say it was a joy to have the tooth pulled, I can say that I was amazed at how fast and painless it was. The have a devise that vibrates where they are going to inject you with the numbing agent and you do not even feel the needle going in or out for that matter. Dr. Pugh looked around the tooth for a minute and then said its time to pull the tooth. It could not have been 45 seconds and it was out. He packed the area with gauze then told me what to do for the next day or two and then I was saying good bye to all of the people there at the office.
I can not tell you how I felt in the early hours before having a wisdom tooth pulled. I dread having the shot to numb the area let alone the extraction of the tooth.
Dr. Pugh and his staff are wonderful! They are always accommodating to your needs. Very gentle staff and always with a smile! They have the latest in technology also, including the new dentalvibe, which is a tool that makes getting the shot of novacaine painless! Imagine that! It's awesome! Dr. Pugh is a great dentist with a strong compassion for his patients, and that is hard to find these days. I can't imagine having to go anywhere else.
The treatment and consideration given to me by Dr. Pugh and his staff was excellent. This was an emergency visit. They saw me and addressed my needs in a prompt and professional manner. Thank you!!!
I am new to the CNY area and was looking for a new dentist. Dr. Pugh and the entire office staff are great to work with. It was very easy to schedule the appointment and email reminders were helpful. Dr. Pugh was great at explaining what work needed to be performed and guiding me through the treatment process including sedation treatment options. The completed work; crown and deep cleaning was exceptional and the best part with sedation dentistry I don't remember a thing from the procedure.

The people at the office were great, nice and very professional and always asking if things are going well with you during the procedure and then making sure you understand the instructions and that they will be calling me the next day to make sure everything is going well.
I only wish I could give them 10 stars for a rating.
